We are hiring "IT Network and Security Engineer" for FinTech company located @ Smart Village   

 

Job Purpose:

As an IT Network and Security Engineer, you will manage and secure corporate data networks, monitor vulnerabilities, address security issues, train employees on best practices, and advise management on protective investments. You will also be responsible for administering and supporting both LAN and WAN infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity between different locations and users, as well as managing firewalls to protect network integrity and control access. 

 

Main Job duties and responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain computer, server, and network systems.

- Plan and perform updates and upgrades for network and security devices.

- Develop, implement, and monitor security measures to protect data and infrastructure.

- Monitor and adjust network performance as needed.

- Document and diagram current and planned network systems.

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network and security devices and software.

- Monitor systems for threats and implement preventive security measures.

- Train staff on information and network security best practices.

 

Education:

- BSC. – Computer Science or Similar.

- Certification in network is most preferable (ex. CCNA).

- CEH, CCNP security, Fortinet NSE or relative certificate is highly preferable 

 

Job Requirements:

- 5–7 years of professional experience in a comparable role.

- Demonstrated expertise in developing, operating, and maintaining network and security systems.

- Advanced proficiency in networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring solutions.

- Comprehensive knowledge of security systems, including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection and notification systems.

- Thorough understanding of security protocols and principles.

- Strong and proven experience in configuring Fortinet firewalls.
