About the position

Emergency and Incident Management prevents or minimizes the impact of incidents, by

investigating possible reoccurrences, classifying problems, working out and distributing preventive actions, and tracking the actionable. Emergency

Management needs to lead, plan, drive and communicate actions towards an

effective recovery. Improving of emergency support services and coaching others come at higher job stages.

Responsibilities

- Lead and facilitate the engaged team toward recovery of service in shortest possible lead times and best customer experience

- Retain regular, clear and concise sharing of progress and information during event handling via all communication forums

- Initiate technical escalations when required to protect Ericsson and/or customer interests

- Remain available at all times during the designated shift and/or roster period

- Act as a contact point for all departments involved in the restoration of an incident

- During Emergency recovery trigger the Problem Management process if reoccurring incident is suspected

- Adhere to Emergency Handling processes

- Manage Incident progress and resolution communication throughout lifecycle of Incident to all internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensure Incident management activities are dealt with in a controlled and balanced manner with emphasis on restoring impacted customer services as quickly as possible.

- Ensure major incident reporting is completed and submitted to management within twenty fours of any major incident occurring on the network.

 

 

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Electrical Engineering: Electronics and Communication

• Knowledge of Mobile Network (2G/3G/LTE networks architecture, different call scenarios, basic troubleshooting of base station sub-system (BSS), Mobile Channels in different generations)

• Knowledge of core network CS equipment such as MSC, MGW, STP, HLR, CUDB

• Have good knowledge of vIMS & VAS nodes

• CCNA is a plus.

• Excellent user of computer applications.

• Have good communication skills.

• Very good command of English.

• Ability to think quickly and calmly when working under pressure.

• Job position is available for both genders.

• Rotating shift work schedule.
