IT Helpdesk Support Engineer

Position: IT Helpdesk Support Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE 

Experience Required: 5+ years

Industry: Banking / Financial Services

 

???? Key Responsibilities:

 

▪️ Ensure high availability and performance of IT services for business and customer-facing functions.

▪️Lead and manage the L1 support and helpdesk team, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.

▪️Oversee IT asset management – desktops, laptops, VDIs, printers, scanners, IP phones, QMS, video conferencing devices, etc.

▪️Monitor helpdesk tickets and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

▪️Provide VIP support to senior management.

▪️Maintain end-user IT security in alignment with defined standards and baselines.

▪️Manage installations, replacements, and M365 migrations without disrupting user environments.

▪️Conduct branch/site visits to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness of IT infrastructure.

▪️Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) simulations and recovery site preparations.

 

✅ What We’re Looking For:

 

▪️5–8 years of experience in IT support, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.

▪️Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows OS, M365, endpoint support, and basic networking.

▪️Proven experience managing helpdesk operations and ticketing systems.

▪️Familiarity with VDI setups, video conferencing, and IT security best practices.

▪️Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

▪️Experience in the banking or financial services industry.

▪️ITIL knowledge or certification is a plus.
