Trio Services is seeking a Front Office IPBB Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team at Smart Village. The ideal candidate will provide first-line support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IP Backbone and Packet Core networks within a managed service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st line support for IPBB and PS networks (Juniper, Huawei, Cisco, Extreme, ZTE, Citrix, SMART EDGE IPRAN routers).
Troubleshoot transmission links (IRUs, ELRs, STMs) and monitor IPBB nodes.
Monitor network performance and node health via nCompass OPNET and analyze traffic trends using MRTG/Cacti.
Handle alarms on PS nodes using Netneumen and investigate system logs for traffic and performance issues.
Monitor and support firewall systems (Juniper SRX, FortiGate, Cisco ASA, UTM) and mitigate DoS attacks using Arbor for SP.
Perform escalation, incident notification, and trouble ticket management.
Support night maintenance windows and perform audits in line with operational standards.
Send outage notifications and ensure clear communication with management.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics & Communication).
CCNA certification is mandatory; CCNP is a plus.
Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/LTE network architecture and troubleshooting.
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with monitoring tools.
Strong communication skills and very good command of English.
Ability to work under pressure in a shift-based environment.
