Position: System Administrator (Storage & Backup)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator (Storage & Backup) to manage and optimize our NAS solutions (QNAP, Synology), backup systems, and file servers. You will ensure that company data is secure, reliable, and accessible for both on-site and remote users, while maintaining best practices for system availability and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and manage QNAP and Synology NAS devices.
* Design, implement, and maintain backup solutions (local and cloud).
* Administer and monitor file servers, including user access and permissions.
* Ensure secure access for both on-site and remote employees.
* Troubleshoot issues related to storage, backup, and file servers.
* Collaborate with the IT team to strengthen system security and performance.
* Implement disaster recovery strategies and regular backup testing.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
* 2–3 years of hands-on experience in system administration, storage, and backup.
* Strong knowledge of QNAP, Synology, or similar NAS systems.
* Experience with backup strategies (incremental, differential, full backup, disaster recovery).
* Familiarity with file servers, user permissions, and Active Directory integration.
* Knowledge of VPN access, remote access, and security protocols.
