Responsibilities & Duties:
-Troubleshoot and configure WAN and LAN routers, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and switches while administering related equipment across the organization.
-Leverage expertise in hypervisors, cluster servers, and virtualization technologies to support infrastructure needs.
-Ensure data integrity and availability using skills with storage systems.
-Oversee application administration, particularly with O365 and server environments.
-Manage Azure services and Active Directory (AD) to support organizational needs.
-Maintain datacentre security against attacks using firewalls, ensuring antivirus software is current on end-user workstations.
-Implement and monitor LAN/WAN connectivity and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), while conducting vulnerability testing and monitoring network performance metrics.
-Manage VPNs, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), antivirus, and anti-spam systems using vulnerability assessment techniques.
-Troubleshoot and configure voice and unified communication equipment, designing and implementing new networking infrastructure projects.
-Conduct regular security assessments and audits, developing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into network architecture and provide training on network and data security best practices.
-Effectively manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity, utilizing Veeam and Veeam O365, while evaluating new technologies for enhanced performance and security.
-Implement network segmentation for enhanced security and analyze network traffic for anomalies and incidents.
-Maintain an inventory of network devices, software, and licenses, participating in disaster recovery planning and testing.
-Develop vendor relationships for network and security solutions, assisting in budget planning for improvements.
-Monitor logs from firewalls and security devices for suspicious activity, leading incident response efforts for security breaches or vulnerabilities.
-Prepare operational guides, technical proposals, and financial documents.
-Stay updated on trends in network security and infrastructure technologies.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science
-Strong knowledge of various operating systems
-VMware / Windows Server/Linux /Ubuntu
-Familiarity with various operating systems and cloud Techniques/platforms
-CCNA & Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is preferred
-Good knowledge of the common IT & security frameworks e.g. ITIL, ISO 20001, IS027001, PCI DSS, etc…
-Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
-Minimum 5 years of Technical Experience
