We’re Hiring: Telco Cloud Engineer (Managed Services)
Company: Trio Services (Subcontractor for Ericsson)
Location: Smart Village, Cairo, Egypt
Trio Services is looking for a Telco Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Services team, responsible for operating and maintaining large-scale Telco Cloud Infrastructure and ensuring stable, reliable network services.
???? What You’ll Do
Perform 2nd-level operations for Telco Cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
Support integration of new nodes, services, and cloud-native workloads into production
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues across the cloud stack
Participate in incident handling and service restoration activities
Collaborate with customer support, project teams, and domain experts (IMS, Core, etc.)
Review and validate HLDs, LLDs, and test plans
Support migration and onboarding of new services into live networks
Maintain platform stability using OpenStack, SDN, NFVi, and virtualization technologies
???? What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer Science, or related field
3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or virtualization operations
Hands-on experience with CVIM, UCS, Cisco ACI, or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Ceph)
Experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes
Good understanding of OVS, SR-IOV, VXLAN, SDN, and cloud networking
Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/Debian)
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, Ansible, or YAML
Familiarity with ETSI NFV and cloud-native principles
CUPS architecture knowledge is a plus
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
