Hiring: Senior Backend Developer*
*About the Role:*
Develop all server-side logic, optimize platform performance, and collaborate with Product & Design teams to translate end-user requirements into effective technical solutions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Develop APIs and RESTful services using http://Node.js - clean, simple, reusable code
- Build all server-side logic including data storage to optimize performance
- Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Collaborate with other dev teams to establish technical standards & best practices
- Identify and adopt innovative technologies to improve customer experience, stability, scalability & availability
*Requirements & Qualifications:*
- 5+ years experience as a Backend Engineer
- 3+ years http://Node.js; 2+ years JavaScript & TypeScript
- Experience with REST, MySQL/PostgreSQL, WebSocket, MongoDB, Redis
- Strong understanding of JWT tokens, access control, API development, data security principles
- Knowledge of Hapi and http://Nest.js frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL & MongoDB
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, quirks & workarounds
- Familiarity with Docker & AWS infrastructure
- Experience with debugging & test automation frameworks
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize AI technologies to improve efficiency/innovation is a plus
*Nice to Have:* Frontend experience with Angular & React
